“ Somehow the idea that I wanted a cheesesteak popped into my head randomly while I was out and about. I've seen this place in my feed before and thought today was the day I'd try it I went to the address posted on their Yelp page which is a residential address. I called the number and it was answered right away and the guy told me where to find Their stand. It was just a couple of blocks away. Pro Tip: check their IG page for their locations because it does change. It was close to time for them to break down for the day but the guy told me that he would wait for me to arrive which I thought was great and a really good sign. I pulled up and he said hello recognizing my voice from the phone call. He was happy to explain some of the menu items and make recommendations but for my first visit I wanted to go with the traditional cheesesteak . I watched him for a while while he made everything fresh on the griddle and took orders from a few other customers that walked up. I was really impressed because he didn't seem bothered by last minute customers and really appeared to be enjoying his work which is another great sign. It was less than 10 minutes to get my food but I saw all the time that was taken to prepare it so I didn't mind one bit. I also ordered some fries with it and took it to go. I liked that all their menu items have photographs. And trust me, my sandwich tasted even better than it looked. It was seasoned so perfectly, but not salty. The vegetables were cooked till they were a little bit crispy, but still tender and it was Everything I hoped it would be. The fries were made fresh and really seasoned well. I love to see small, businesses in the neighborhood and want them to thrive because the great customer experience I had and the commitment to quality. The absolutely delicious food was worth the visit. This is the kind of place that you definitely want to support so the next time you're out & in the mood for something you don't find everywhere in LA, you should check them out. You and your stomach can thank me later. ”

If you think Philly got good Cheesesteaks, then you need to pull up and try a version that's 100% born and raised in Los Angeles. There are options like the classic, chiro-loco, surf and turf and more. I especially love loaded fries, and Chef Turtle don't play when it comes to all the combinations of exotic fries you can order. I'm a fan of the Fiesta Fries, loaded up with steak, peppers, garlic and cheese. Only on Sundays, you can order the only cheesesteak breakfast burrito in LA. It's exactly what it sounds like - steak, eggs, fries and cheese. It might knock you out while watching football, but it's totally worth it. ”
